The new GJ Gardner Residence in Gold Hill Mesa is the featured home in 2011 for the HBA Parade of Homes, which officially kicks off this evening (August 4, 2011).  I believe that the new GJ Gardner Residence in Gold Hill Mesa will serve Colorado Springs as a model for conservative sustainability in the home building industry. It is not only registered with LEED for Homes with the pursuit of Gold certification, but it is also registered to be the first Water Sense for Homes in the region.
The following are updated photos of the GJ Gardner landscape, which was designed by Olson Planning & Urban Landscapes and installed by Timberline Landscaping. The landscape design is a critical component to meeting the requirements of LEED for Homes and the EPA Water Sense Program.
