Abstract:
There are several methodologies of creating and fostering economic development in our communities. The brief presentation will examine the opportunities that do not involve typical financial incentives, but an incentive of expediency and flexibility. Form-based codes and other ‘green’ codes that promote buildings that are loved will be contrasted with the conventional Euclidian zoning codes that have arguably become one of our country’s largest financial threats.
